Glenna Jean Bedding: Pinzon Kids Printed Fish Sheet Set Review

I choose the Pinzon Kids Printed Fish Twin Sheet Set for my 10 year old who loves anything to do with the water, especially fish.The sheets have really nice brilliant colors. The one thing I noticed when I opened them up is they had a bit of a smell to them. It wasn't a bad smell, just some kind of odor that could have been from the factory or from the dyes used. I also noticed the the sheets were not as soft as I had hoped they would be. They are a little on the scratchy side. I put them through the wash and the colors held up very nice. There was no bleeding of the colors on the sheets. They did not, however, soften up at all. I even put them through the dryer with a fabric softener sheet. I may try washing them again and put liquid fabric softener right in the washing machine to see if they soften up at all. Other than that, these sheets are really nice. My 10 year old loves them and thinks they are great, so the softness thing might just be an adult sensitivity. I prefer my sheets to have a softer feel to them. Overall, they seem to be good quality sheets that will hold up well to washing them repeatedly.
