Bought two of these quilts for our beach house bunk beds.They looked so great that I bought two more.I needed something that would hold up with constant use by youngsters who parents rent our beach home. Even though I am using them on bunk beds, they are not bulky and can be tucked in the sides on the top bunk if you don't like the extra material hanging down.They look very well made and look beachy enough for our home.They are just the right weight for summer use.If needed for winter use, a blanket probably would be necessary if you keep your home cool during the night. From my experience with Nautica linens, they will last for many years through washings and use.Other Nautica comforters and quilts I have bought have not faded so I expect the same quality as those.
The colors are pretty much as pictured and they have the look of a classic, madras theme.I think they look timeless.
