We got these because they came in California King size, were a respectable price, and 600 threadcount. We washed them before using them, a generally good precaution anyway.
I'm pretty hairy, and even I could feel the scratchiness of these sheets. We have 200 and 300 threadcount queen sheets which are smoother and softer than these. It feels like these are 50% polyester.
Also, at some point in the night we had to pull the sheets up a little. The trim along the top tore loose in the middle, 2 inches long.Actually, it wasn't a tear.It was a ripped stitch.
Rather than being a bit of the sheet fabric folded over and hemmed, this is a separate piece which is sewn onto the last 2mm of the sheet. There is no rolled edge or other support. This design probably would have come apart after 5 or 6 washes, even if we'd been super delicate with them.
It looks like someone saw an assembled sheet and was told to make something that looks the same, and then the apprentice tailor made them.
I strongly recommend against these.
