Glenna Jean Bedding: Canyon Crest Parisian 24-Piece Room in a Bag Queen Sky Review

I've purchased a "room in a bag" type set before and been really happy with it, so when I was looking to change colors I came upon this set. I liked the look of it but hesitated because I searched EVERYWHERE on the internet for a larger picture and could not find one, so I wasn't exactly sure how the colors would appear in person, or what the detail of the damask design looked like. So I took a chance, and I'm glad I did!

Be assured, this is a BEAUTIFUL set! The blue color is is richer and more muted than it appears in the picture. It is officially "French Blue" which is a dusty, darker blue (it is NOT "sky" blue), while still being light enough to brighten up a room. The gold is a muted antique kind of gold, not a overly bright yellow gold. It's very nice. And you can't tell from the picture, but there is also a hint of deep raspberry pink in the design (it's in the damask design in the comforter, shams & valances). This color is subtle, so don't worry about it being an overriding color in the scheme, but it is there.

I'm EXTREMELY happy with the quality & value of this set. With the special offers, I was able to get the whole set for almost 40% less than the other comparable sets I saw at Macy's and the like (and that includes the shipping!).
