I got this for my son's day bed and its perfect--slits at the corners and it fits perfectly.I like the heavy duty stitching that will ensure it doesn't come apart as he pushes his mattress around (as making a day bed is easier when you pull the mattress forward if you can't walk around to the head of the bed).Color is a deeper red, not a true bright red.
